Health Conditions & Permanent Makeup (PMU)

At our studio, your safety, comfort, and long-term results are our highest priority. Permanent Makeup is a cosmetic procedure that requires careful screening to ensure optimal healing and beautiful outcomes. For this reason, we provide services only to clients who meet our eligibility guidelines.

If you have any of the conditions listed below, written medical clearance from your primary care physician is required prior to your appointment. Clearance documentation must be submitted to your artist before your scheduled visit.

Medical Conditions & Contraindications

You may not be a candidate for PMU services if you have any of the following conditions, unless medically cleared:

  • Allergies to pigments or topical anesthetics (including lidocaine or benzocaine)

  • Use of anticoagulants or blood-thinning medications (including, but not limited to, aspirin, Xarelto, Brilinta, Plavix, or similar medications)

  • Active skin conditions in the treatment area (eczema, rashes, psoriasis, skin cancer, or other untreated skin disorders)

  • Hepatitis or HIV
    (Completion of medical history forms is required)

  • Diabetes with circulation concerns that may impair wound healing
    (Physician clearance required)

  • Hemophilia or bleeding disorders

  • Use of high-dose Retin-A, Accutane (Isotretinoin), or steroid medications
    (Must be discontinued for a minimum of one year prior to treatment)

  • Recent radiotherapy or chemotherapy
    (Must be at least six months post-treatment)

  • Neurological conditions such as epilepsy or seizure disorders

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding (lactation)

🩺 Full medical disclosure is required prior to treatment.
Failure to disclose medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or lactation before your appointment will result in forfeiture of your deposit for safety reasons.

Deposits & Remaining Balance

  • A deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment.

  • Appointments without a deposit will be released to the public.

  • Deposits are applied toward the remaining balance on the day of your service.

  • To maintain your deposit, we kindly request a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for any rescheduling.

Cancellations & No-Show Policy

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellations.

  • Same-day cancellations will require full payment before scheduling a future appointment.

  • Missed appointments without notice will result in permanent loss of booking privileges.
